The "Spermatikos Logos I" series has been inspired by a youthful work of mine under the title "My Monsters." Spermatikos (=Greek for "seminal") Logos (=Greek for "reason") is used here in a sense of "spermatic forces of reason" for the creation of cosmos. "Spermatikos Logos II" takes the adventure of creation even further with impulsive re-organising of the original material. This time though, the transformation takes on a playful form that resembles half fish and half snake! The central 'womb of life' remains intact. Original Gouache
